Three Double Ashes Rings for Rossi and Alfie

I made these three Double Ashes Rings for a mum and her two daughters, using the ashes of their dogs, Rossi and Alfie.

Remembering Rossi and Alfie

Rossi was a Labrador who joined the family when he was just eight weeks old. He was just shy of 13 when they lost him.

His family described him as loyal, gentle, intelligent and loving. They said he was one in a million.

Alfie was a Bichon Shih Tzu cross and the family dog from an earlier part of their lives. He was remembered as a real character and, in his family’s words, “very chopsy”.

How the three rings differed

The family chose three matching Double Ashes Rings, each made from 925 sterling silver with two separate round settings.

The two daughters wanted matching combinations: Alfie’s ashes in red on the left and Rossi’s ashes in light blue on the right, with both inclusions visible.

Their mum chose grey on the left and light blue on the right, with only Rossi’s ashes visible. Each side can have its own colour, and the ashes can be visible or hidden.

The two settings can hold ashes from different people or pets, or a combination such as ashes and hair.

Keeping Rossi and Alfie’s ashes separate

The two sets of ashes arrived separately labelled so I could keep Rossi and Alfie completely distinct throughout the making process.

Rossi and Alfie’s ashes were kept separately labelled throughout the process.

Only a small amount was required for each setting. I returned everything I did not use with the finished rings and matching glass keepsakes.

Each order for Featherlings ashes jewellery includes a secure postal kit and prepaid tracked postage back to my Portsmouth workshop.

“The customer service has been second to none”

One of the rings later developed a fault, so I replaced it quickly and included some extra keepsakes. The customer kindly gave permission for me to share her words:

“We are all absolutely over the moon with our rings. Thank you so much for quickly replacing the faulty ring and for the extra keepsakes. We all genuinely would recommend you and your business. The customer service has been second to none.”

If something goes wrong, I will put it right. That matters even more when the jewellery holds something irreplaceable.

A ring for two loved ones

If you would like one ring to represent two people or pets, the Double Ashes Ring provides two individually personalised settings. You can choose separate colours, visible or hidden inclusions, and tell me exactly which ashes, hair or fur belong in each side.
