Lorraine’s Double Ashes Ring for Her Mum

Lorraine messaged me after opening her ring. She called the moment bittersweet because it held her mum’s ashes.

The photograph Lorraine shared shows her mum smiling in a little rain hood. Lorraine told me her mum had just had her hair done and always kept one of these hoods in her bag in case it rained.

A blue and clear Double Ashes Ring

Lorraine chose the Double Ashes Ring, made from 925 sterling silver with two separate round settings. She chose one deep blue setting and one clear setting, with her mum’s ashes visible inside.

Although the ring can hold two different inclusions, Lorraine chose to use both settings for her mum.

“I have Mummy with me always”

Lorraine wrote:

“I have now received the ring!! Bitter sweet really, the ring is beautiful along with the extras in the box. I have mummy with me always, not only in my heart but I can see her ashes in the ring too! Thank so much for making this a very precious piece of jewellery that I will treasure forever!!! Loved by so many and missed so much!”

Lorraine can now see her mum’s ashes whenever she looks at the ring.

Lorraine told me her mum always carried the little rain hood in her bag in case it rained. It is such a lovely detail to remember about her.

Each setting can have its own colour, and the ashes can be visible or more discreet. Only a small amount of ashes, hair or fur is required, and unused material is returned with the finished jewellery.
